Nevada U.S. Senate Candidate Sam Brown blocked Loomer on X following articles highlighting Brown’s inability to endorse President Trump’s reelection, Mitch McConnell’s backing of him, and donations to his campaign from prominent Democrat families like the Pritzker’s. Brown chose the anti-1st Amendment route instead of answering these critical questions head-on. Brown’s reaction should be no surprise as “Free Speech” is missing from Brown’s website issue page. This is yet another reason for Nevada GOP voters to avoid Brown at all costs.
Loomer announced Sam Brown blocked her on X, “Oh…Was it something I said? If Sam Brown can’t handle Laura Loomer, how can we expect him to handle being a US Senator? Absolutely disqualifying to be blocking one of President Trump’s biggest advocates on X. I’ll make sure @TeamTrump sees this. @LaCivitaC @JasonMillerinDC The choice is clear. President Trump should put an end to the failed political career of Scam Brown and endorse @DrJeffGunter.”
Brown’s reaction to Loomer’s justified criticism should come as no surprise. Missing from Sam Brown’s “issue page” is anything that has to do with protecting free speech and 1st Amendment rights. Even more disturbing is the words “protect free speech or the 1st Amendment” are nowhere to be found in Brown’s “Cancel Culture” and “Big tech” sections of his issue page. Republican candidates who can’t commit to protecting free speech should be avoided at all costs.
Brown became triggered at Loomer after her article highlighted that on August 25th, 2023, Brown informed Punchbowl News that he would not endorse Trump. Punchbowl reported, “Brown is being exceptionally cautious when it comes to Trump. He declined to say whether he’s comfortable with sharing the GOP ticket with Trump in Nevada, which will be competitive once again at the presidential level as well.”
A day before refusing to endorse Trump, Brown shamelessly attempted to score political points with Nevada GOP voters by using Trump’s arrest to his benefit. Brown’s August 24th statement read, “Today, we are witnesses again to a two-tiered justice system being used by politicians to target political opponents. It’s engineered to distract from Joe Biden’s failing record and corruption scandals. America was prosperous under President Trump and would be again — they want you to forget that.”
