EXCLUSIVE: Red Oak Strategic LLC Hired to Count Iowa Caucus Votes Despite Ties to DeSantis Campaign, Never Back Down Super Pac, And Amazon AWS

Loomer exclusively reported that Patrick Stewart of Red Oak Strategic LLC was hired to count the Iowa Caucus votes. Unsurprisingly, Red Oak Strategic has ties to Team DeSantis’s Never Back Down Pac. Red Oak Strategic’s owner, Mark Stephenson, is married to Ashlee Rich Stephenson, who is the President of AxAdvocacy, which is a part of the Axiom network. Axiom is owned by Jeff Roe, who was the head of Ron DeSantis’s Super PAC Never Back Down. Posts from Ashlee Rich Stephenson’s X account show she has consistently shared posts questioning Trump’s lead in the polls. Red Oak Strategic is also a Mitch McConnell’s Senate Leadership Pac client. Red Oak Strategic also brags on its website that it uses Amazon’s AWS to “prevent your data from being stolen.” It seems Team DeSantis is doing whatever they can to fix the Iowa Caucus.

Loomer wrote, “I have discovered that the Iowa GOP has hired Patrick Stewart of Red Oak Strategic LLC to oversee the process of counting the votes on the day of the Iowa Caucus.” Loomer continued writing, “How can the voters in Iowa have faith in their votes being counted correctly and fairly when Red Oak Strategic @redoakstrategic, the company that has been retained to manage and oversee the calculation of the votes for the Iowa Caucus, has a very blatant conflict of interest with Ron DeSantis’s campaign and his Super Pac that they never disclosed to the public? This is very concerning!”

LinkedIn records show that Ashlee Rich Stephenson is the President of AxAdvocacy, which is a part of the Axiom network. Axiom is owned by Jeff Roe, who was the head of Ron DeSantis’s Super PAC Never Back Down.

Ashlee Rich Stephenson’s X account, which is known as @Ashleewrich, has shared multiple anti-Trump posts. In November of 2022, @Ashleewrich reshared a post from Never-Trumper David Weissman, which incorrectly blamed MAGA for the GOP’s 2022 election failures.

In an even more concerning post, @Ashleewrich wrote a post stating that polling showing President Trump leading Biden due to his support from voters under 35 years old is false.

Major questions surround Red Oak Strategic as well. According to Red Oak’s website, the company uses Never-Trumper Jeff Bezos’s AWS to “prevent your data from being stolen.” Will Jeff Bezos be able to see the Iowa Caucus results before anyone else?

Loomer commented on this development, writing, “WOW! Making this conflict of interest even worse, it appears that @redoakstrategic uses Amazon’s AWS. As you know, after J6, AWS banned and deplatformed Parler and many other pro-Trump sites citing Amazon’s condemnation of President Trump over the events on J6 as the reason. Doesn’t seem like the vote counting software in Iowa is very secure or fair. There’s ties to @RonDeSantis @NvrBackDown24 and now Amazon AWS which has a history of targeting Trump supporters. That’s 2 conflict of interests now.”
