The former “The Talk” co-host didn’t hold back during a recent episode of the British reality TV show “Celebrity Big Brother,” where she and longtime friend Louis Walsh engaged in some celebrity gossip.
In a preview clip of the episode, Osbourne and Walsh didn’t mince words when discussing their interactions with fellow celebrities. Their criticisms were particularly aimed at James Corden, with Osbourne accusing the former “Late Late Show” host of incessantly name-dropping and flaunting his designer wardrobe.
According to Osbourne, Corden would readily boast about his designer clothing when complimented, an act she described as “playing the L.A. game.” She recounted an instance where she complimented his shoes, only for Corden to respond by naming the designer. This behavior, in Osbourne’s eyes, epitomized Corden’s eagerness to align himself with the Hollywood elite.
Walsh chimed in, mentioning Corden’s cozy relationship with influential figures like Anna Wintour, the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue. However, Osbourne didn’t hold back, expressing her disdain for Wintour and even resorting to profanity in her description.
The conversation then shifted to Ellen DeGeneres, with Osbourne visibly expressing her distaste by mimicking vomiting at the mere mention of the former “Ellen Show” host. DeGeneres has faced scrutiny in recent years following allegations of a toxic work environment behind the scenes of her show, which starkly contrasted with her public persona of kindness and compassion.
Both Corden and DeGeneres have faced their fair share of controversies. Corden came under fire in 2022 when he was labeled a “tiny cretin of a man” by a New York City restaurant owner for alleged rude behavior towards staff. DeGeneres, on the other hand, faced backlash over the workplace environment on her show, leading to her departure from television in 2022, followed by Corden’s exit in 2023.
